Editorial policy
Grand Coaching Journal aims to make coaching practice easier to examine, not to present one method as right for everyone. We value careful wording, clear limits and corrections when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against appropriate material before publication and distinguish explanation from opinion. Where an idea has limits or depends on context, we say so. We do not present illustrative scenarios as real cases or claim that a coaching technique guarantees results.
Independence and interests
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. If a partner has a relevant interest in material, we identify that relationship clearly and keep it separate from independent editorial judgement.
Corrections
If a reader spots an error, they can use the Contact page and select the correction option. We review the concern, amend material when warranted and make significant corrections clear to readers. We do not quietly retain wording we know to be misleading.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-connected material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when an image is AI-generated, we identify it as such near the image or its caption.
A conversation is a start, not a verdict.
Coaching is not a magic prompt or a perfect plan. We look at the agreements, questions and follow-through that make a conversation useful, while leaving the choices with the person doing the work.
