Write for us
We welcome clear, original pitches about coaching conversations and the choices around them. A strong contribution gives readers a specific idea to consider without promising that one technique will work for everyone.
What we are looking for
Pitch considered explanations, comparisons, reflective exercises, histories of coaching ideas, or pieces about agreements, questions, experiments, feedback and follow-through. We value useful detail, a distinct point of view and honest attention to what can fail or depend on context.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the proposed angle, the reader it serves and the main idea the piece will help them examine. Explain why it belongs in Grand Coaching Journal and note any relevant experience or interests that could affect the piece. Please do not send confidential client material or imply that a personal example represents everyone.
How to send it
Send your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is not a promise of publication; we may ask questions or suggest changes before deciding whether it fits.
A conversation is a start, not a verdict.
Coaching is not a magic prompt or a perfect plan. We look at the agreements, questions and follow-through that make a conversation useful, while leaving the choices with the person doing the work.
